Designed in Australia, Tough Dog progressive rate leaf springs incorporate both primary and secondary stage leaves, ensuring that the vehicle's ride quality remains uncompromised under varying load conditions.

Tough Dog provides a selection of up to three spring rate options for most applications, allowing for tailored solutions that best fit your vehicle's specific setup. Each spring is precision mandrel and die-formed, oil quenched, hardened, and tempered to guarantee extended service life.

Standard features include military wrap across all part numbers, accurate heat treatment, and construction from high-grade spring steel. Many applications also incorporate anti-friction pads to enhance performance. The springs are pre-stressed to maintain ride height and are rigorously load rate tested to ensure reliability.

For vehicles equipped with additional accessories, Tough Dog offers various spring rates to accommodate constant load scenarios. This includes fixed accessories such as canopies, steel trays, draw systems, fridges, toolboxes, rear bars, or spare wheel carriers, which are classified as constant load.

Approximate raised height specifications are as follows: FS368C-LH and FS368C-RH are designed for light loads of 0-300kg on the passenger and driver sides, respectively. FS368L-LH and FS368L-RH cater to constant loads of 300kg on the passenger and driver sides, respectively. It is advisable to pair raised springs with long travel shock absorbers to optimize performance.

• We recommend fitting long travel shock absorbers with raised springs.
• Constant Load refers to weight that is added to the vehicle and will remain in/on the vehicle at all times.
• Fixed accessories such as a canopy, steel tray, draw system, fridge, tool boxes, rear bar or spare wheel carrier are considered Constant Load.
• It is important to select the most relevant spring rate to achieve the best results for load carrying, ride quality and ride height.
