King Springs are crafted from X5K Steel, a new generation of high-strength spring steel that is engineered to withstand higher operating stresses. This material offers superior resistance to sag, enhanced toughness, and improved corrosion fatigue properties, making it an excellent choice for performance-oriented vehicles.

Upgrading to aftermarket raised springs is particularly beneficial for vehicles equipped with additional accessories, those that are heavily laden, or for those seeking improved load-carrying capabilities and increased ground clearance. All King Springs heavy-duty replacement springs are designed to provide an uprated performance, typically ranging from 20% to 40% depending on the specific vehicle application.

When selecting the appropriate spring rate, it is essential to consider the fixed accessories on the vehicle. For example, the KDFR 400 offers an approximate lift of 20-25mm, while the KDFR 400H is designed for vehicles with a load of 50-100kg, providing an approximate lift of 45-50mm.

It is recommended to reuse the factory insulator from the original coils when installing the replacement King Springs. Additionally, pairing long travel shocks with raised springs is advisable to maximize performance. Please note that the degree of height increase may vary based on the vehicle's age, the accessories fitted, the materials used, and other factory options.
